I'm a versatile IT professional who's spent the last decade and a half running the systems behind one of the country's largest academic institutions. My work sits at the intersection of DevOps, system architecture, and frontline technical support — from administering 50+ servers across Akamai (Linode), GCP, and on-premise environments, to writing Laravel-based management systems, to training executive staff on data privacy.

I'm a heavy user and advocate of open-source solutions. I've architected cost-effective stacks using Passbolt, GitLab CE, Fider.io, and Open Journal Systems — reducing licensing overhead while keeping institutional data sovereign. I helped lead UPLB's Digital Transformation initiative and have delivered secure data integrations for national agencies including DOST, DENR, DA, and DepEd.

I'm not just an architect or just a sysadmin — I'm both, plus the developer who builds the tools, the trainer who upskills the team, and the on-call engineer who picks up the phone at 2 a.m. when something breaks.
